How does E-Cuisine differ from a traditional brick and mortar grocery store?

A traditional brick and mortar grocery store offers a very limited selection of prepared foods. We prepare almost all of our products so you don't have to. A traditional grocery store does not typically offer online sales either. We encourage them.

How does E-Cuisine work?

E-Cuisine is essentially a grocery store with a twist. We encourage you to shop like you're in a grocery store but make your selections as if you were in a restaurant. It's Supermarket Quality, Restaurant Style. For example, you might say "Oh, I feel like having shrimp scampi, spaghetti, crab stuffed manicotti, stuffed green peppers, southwest chicken salad, and pork chops with spinach fritters this week." At a typical grocery store you would have to buy each individual ingredient you would need to make these dishes like pork chops, spinach, flour, crab, manicotti, ricotta, angel hair pasta, spaghetti sauce, green peppers, ground sausage, etc. At E-Cuisine, all you have to do is tell us what sounds good to eat for the week, and we will send you the complete, fully cooked meals. Once you receive your order, simply store it in the appropriate place until you are ready to eat it. When you are hungry, simply take the meal of your choice out, heat it, and eat it.

Do I have to order every day to keep my food fresh?

No. We recommend that you order once per week to ensure adequate storage space in your refrigerator and to ensure your food maintains the high quality in which it was sent to you. The food comes to your doorstep ready to heat and eat.

Are my meals fresh or have they been sitting in a deep freezer for several months?

Your food is absolutely fresh. We do not make your meals until you decide what to purchase. We serve only the freshest and highest quality ingredients and meals.

How is my food kept fresh for shipping and storage?

Your order is not made until you submit your purchase request. After we prepare your foods, they are then flash frozen to lock in quality and ensure safe arrival and storage until you are ready to eat them. Once your meals are flash frozen, they are shipped from our store to your doorstep within 24 hours.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Once you make your purchase decisions and submit them to us, we need approximately one day to prepare all of your choices. Once we've prepared your food, we ship it to you. Shipping generally takes one to three days depending on your location. You will be notified of a more definite time frame once you make your purchases.

How does my order get to me?

We ship all meals to our customers. We have two options for delivery. If you live within a 50 mile radius from our shop, our delivery truck will bring your order to your doorstep. If you live further than our delivery limitation, we are happy to ship your purchases to you via FedEx. You order is always packed in an insulated container and stored on dry ice to keep it safe and fresh.
